We spent the Easter break camping in Bright with friends, something we have been doing for the last 8 years. I enjoy the diversity that Bright has to offer. Being about to relax, wander the shops, enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes, visit wineries, bike riding...the list is endless.
On one particular day we decided to accompany the boys on their fishing trip. The plan was for us girls to enjoy a picnic and read trashy magazines on the river bed whilst the boys fished. Not all things go to plan! The riverbank was swarming with wasps. We put down our picnic blankets but didn't have any luck with our cheese and dip platter as the wasps were instantly attracted to the smell of the food. There was nothing left to do but fish with the boys! It was so peaceful, listening to the sound of the water trickling off the rocks. I even managed to hear some kookaburras high in the trees. It is these little things that make me smile. I even managed to catch my first fish.
